Currimundi Lakeside Villas is a complex of 170 freehold villas. The local social life takes place in the Community Hall and the adjacent BBQ and swimming pool, on the boardwalk (with BBQ and pool table) and the rotunda above our lake, and around the flagpole under the trees behind the entrance.

Regular activities in the village include indoor bowls, breathing classes, aquarobics, Tai Chi Chuan, gardening groups, craft groups making items for charities, card and board games playing, an arts group, a sing-along group, movie nights, and twice a week Happy Hour. A newsletter is published eleven times a year.

Most of the residents are retired, but some are still in the workforce.

The complex opened its first stage in June 1999; three more stages were added soon after. Each stage has its Body Corporate, and those four form the Primary Body Corporate.
